Vehicle fire reported April 15 on I-10 near Flatonia
A 2009 Toyota Scion caught fire while traveling on Interstate 10 near Flatonia on Saturday, April 15. Flatonia Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire.
A 911 call reporting a vehicle fire on I-10 westbound near the 661 mile marker near Flatonia was received by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, April 15 at 3:08 p.m., according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek. Flatonia Fire & Rescue was notified and responded along with Flatonia Police Officer Billy Kalina and Deputy James Ulbig.
