US 77 to be closed June 19-23 south of La Grange for culvert replacement
While US 77 is closed for culvert replacement, traffic traveling north on US 77 will be detoured by turning west (left) onto FM 2436 through Hostyn and then north (right) on FM 609 to La Grange, where FM 609 intersects Business 71 in the west part of town.
The Texas Department of Transportation will start a project to rehabilitate the existing roadway on US 77, 0.4 miles south of La Grange, on Monday June 19, weather permitting.
In order to replace an existing concrete box culvert under the highway, US 77 will be CLOSED for approximately five days from Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23. The detour route is shown on the map.
