The Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Association met on Monday, June 12 at the La Grange First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Fellowship time was hosted by FCRTA Chapter members, and the raffle item (to benefit the Children’s Book Project) was given by Lisa Slinkard.
The business portion of the meeting included approval of an amendment to the standing rules (passed unanimously), a memorial for former member Nancy Pietsch, and installation of 202324 officers, with recognition of committee chairs. The installation was performed by Gene Stokes, District 13 TRTA president.
