The Stanzel Family Foundation is proud to have sponsored Schulenburg and Weimar students to attend Camp Invention in La Grange.
The students were funded through the Dale Kirn Memorial Scholarship, awarded every year to four local students who show an aptitude in science, technology, engineering, art and math in the Schulenburg or Weimar schools. This opportunity allows the students an opportunity to further develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication skills as they work together in hands-on and projectbased activities.
At Camp Invention, students have time to exercise their creative problem-solving skills as they work in teams, learn through discovery and learn the merits of persistence.
