Young Farmers
The Schulenburg Young Farmers will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. at the Schulenburg Expo Center.
Topics for the meeting will be the egg toss and cow chip fundraiser that will be held during the Schulenburg Festival in August.
Quilt Guild
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild will welcome Kristi Asbill as the guest speaker on Tuesday, July 25 at 10 a.m.
Asbill is a charter member of CVQG and has been quilting for over 45 years. She will highlight a collection of her scrap quilts and share how she uses her scraps to design and make her quilts. She will also give ideas for storing her scraps and planning for future quilts.
CVQG meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl St., Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
