Turtle Wing Foundation was recently granted $25,000 from Texas Mutual Insurance Company to be used for therapeutic, educational and recreational scholarships for those with learning challenges in the rural area.
These funds will be used to directly fund services, ranging from speech therapy to tutoring to inclusive dance, for those whose families may not be able to otherwise afford the services.
The grant was part of the Texas Mutual generational learning grant program.
