the BARdItCh hIPPIes – husband and wife duo, Brandon and Beverly thompson from Luling, started the band in 2015. Both veteran “emotions” band performers, they spent many Wednesday summer nights entertaining the large crowds at swiss Alp dancehall. Lead guitarist Luke Leverett joined in late 2021. the dUJkA BRotheRs – John and Mark dujka hail from east Bernard but their musical journey began in the schulenburg area at st. John, playing accordions with their grandfather, herman Brossmann. grandpa Brossmann loved to play Czech and german favorites as well as listen to polka radio shows. After his death in 1985, the brothers wanted to keep the music going. the dujkas play polkas, classic country, rock, and swing and are proficient on numerous wind and keyboard instruments as well as guitars and accordio
