Traffic stop on I-10 near Engle leads to money laundering arrest

Two subjects from Laredo were arrested on money laundering charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 10 near Engle on Tuesday, Aug. 22, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reported that around 2:05 p.m., Fayette County Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith stopped a 2015 Ford dually pickup on I-10 westbound at the 665 mile marker for a traffic violation.
