Sr. Connections: gathering place for active seniors
Enjoying an outing to Brenham were (from left) Jannette Streit, Betty Mulholland, Alice Fajkus, Chery Wilson, Carolyn Moore, Janell Heaton, Cindy Villarreal, Irene Janda, JoNell Vacek, Shirley Machicek, Cynthia Meyer, Marilyn Mares and Cathy Wilhoite. One of the stops was the Blue Bell Creamery, where they are pictured.
Last week was a rocking week at Senior Connections, and there is no relief in sight, either.
It started on Monday, Sept. 11 with lunch-and-learn speaker Angie Evans from Garden Walk of LSW, which provides reduced-cost senior housing in La Grange, Weimar and Schulenburg. She told about the program and was also seeking to partner with Senior Connections for some future activities.
