While the Shorthorns started district play with an overtime win in Thorndale last Friday, Hearne had an open date in its schedule.
The 1-3 Eagles will visit David Husmann Memorial Stadium this Friday, Sept. 29 for Schulenburg High School’s Homecoming.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. In the first four games this season, Hearne has averaged 15.5 points per game on offense while allowing 20 points per game on defense. The Eagles’ losses came against Anderson-Shiro (28-6), Burton (27-24), and Chilton (1913) while their win, in week three, was over Elkhart (19-6).
