Archeology Day slated at Kreische/Monument Hill
Late 1970s and early 1980s excavati ons at Kreische Brewery are still yielding information, according to Jenny Townzen, Monument Hill/Kreische Brewery sites educator.
The third annual Archeology Day at Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites near La Grange will be on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. With nine hands-on family activities, artifact exhibits from the Kreische collections, tours and presentations, and a special take-home prize for participants, the event is bigger and better than ever.
