As of Oct. 13, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,362 for the year– 634 dogs and 728 cats in need.
As of Oct. 13, the shelter had 133 animals in its care – 71 dogs and 62 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
