Sr. Connections: gathering place for active seniors

    Senior Connections will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2-3 for renovation work and staff training all day on Friday, Nov. 3 in La Grange.

    Senior Connections is hosting “Lake Charles or Bust,” a charter bus overnight outing on Nov. 9-10. A $200 fee for transportation there and back will also include lunch on the bus each day. This is payable to Senior Connections to secure a seat on the bus. Rooms should be booked with credit card at the Golden Nugget, and Amanda Kridel has secured a block of rooms for the group. Anyone needing help with booking a room can go to Senior Connections and Kridel can use the computers there to set it up. Most of the meals and amenities can be charged to the person’s room, so there is no need to carry cash. The card can also be used for activities as well as dinner and breakfast while at the hotel.
