After abundant rainfall recently, Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller lifted the ban on outdoor burning in unincorporated areas effective Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 6 a.m.
The burn ban had been extended on Oct. 12 after originally enacted on July 13. The order stipulated the prohibition for 90 days but allowed termination of the restrictions earlier if conditions improved.
