As of Nov. 17, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,476 for the year– 678 dogs and 798 cats in need.
As of Nov. 17, the shelter had 88 animals in its care – 38 dogs and 50 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
