Quilts for area nursing facilities will be constructed at the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild charity workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The process will include (left photo) organizing donated fabrics and (right photo) various stations set up for the streamlined assembly of quilts.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild will hold a charity workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Randolph Recreation Center in La Grange (the week after Thanksgiving).
This workshop will benefit surrounding areas because quilts will be made for residents in nursing care facilities.
Over 30 kits have been prepared for the workshop by Kathi Babcock. However, there are more kits that need cutting work, batting needs to be cut, blocks need to be pressed and donated fabric needs to be sorted.
