The Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum (PLCTM) in La Grange is hosting two Christmas open houses, in conjunction with the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center, on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The public is invited to bring in the holidays polka-style with music and entertainment.
The open houses will be based on Czech culture and held in the Czech Village on the Fayette County Fairgrounds. The public is invited to attend either or both of the holiday season events.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day. The museum will provide a gathering place for longtime friends to reunite and remember days gone by as well as for those wishing to learn about polka music and dance.
