At the charity quilt workshop, stations were set up at which members performed various tasks (top photo), including (bottom left photo) “sandwiching” the quilt and (bottom right photo) cutting the fabric, with Sandy Courrier shown at the cutting table.
The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild had a productive day at its charity quilt workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Randolph Recreation Center in La Grange, with 22 members in attendance. The workshop was held after the regular CVQG meeting.
Over 17 quilts were “sandwiched” (done by basting together the front, batting and backing) and more quilts were cut, pieced and ironed.
Quilts were readily available for anyone to pick up and finish for the CVQG’s ongoing charity quilts project.
