The man sought in connection with the death of an Edna High School student and cheerleader was located and taken into custody just outside the Schulenburg city limits on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Edna Police Department officers and Texas Rangers, assisted by the Schulenburg PD and Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, arrested 23-yearold Rafael Govea Romero in the 600 block of FM 2672.
