Youth groups get donations thru Flatonia KC sign project
Donation to St. Ros e Youth Gro up – Richard Schacherl represented KC Rev. Allen Black Council 3295 in presenting a $1,000 check to Stacy Oeding, representing the St. Rose of Lima high school youth ministry at Schulenburg. McCourt Equipment requested that, instead of payment for materials for three “Jesus Christ Divine Mercy” signs, donations be made to three area youth groups.

Over the summer, Knights of Columbus Rev. Allen Black Council 3295, headquartered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, was busy erecting “Jesus Christ Divine Mercy” signs for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern and Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Praha.
McCourt Equipment generously supplied the materials and fabrication for the signs.
In lieu of payment for the signs, McCourt Equipment had KC Council 3295 donate $1,000 each to the youth groups at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia.
