As of Dec. 15, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,559 for the year– 730 dogs and 829 cats in need.
As of Dec. 15, the shelter had 88 animals in its care – 33 dogs and 55 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical reasons, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.
