Senior Connections is still in “recovery mode” after its New Year’s Eve Heritage Ball on Dec. 31.
“There are so many details to tend to on an event of this level and Amanda Kridel, our director of marketing and development, was right on point as she coordinated and orchestrated this fine event,” Cindy Villarreal, executive director, said.
“Since this was our first event of this magnitude, we had a lot to purchase this time around that we won’t have to next year, which means we now have more items to store. Storage space is a premium sore spot for us because we do not have it. We have had to acquire a storage space that we must rent to store seasonal items and we are looking for a sponsor to help us with this $40 a month expense,” she continued.
