Traffic stop on I-10 leads to money laundering arrest
$29,000 in cash was located in a Crown Royal bag during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 at Flatonia and a money laundering arrest was made.

A money laundering arrest was made following a traffic stop on Interstate 10 at Flatonia on Tuesday, Jan. 23, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reports that around noon, Drug Interdiction Investigator David Smith stopped a 2019 grey Volkswagen Jetta on I-10 westbound at the 661 mile marker for traffic violations.
