Shorthorn second baseman Cooper Demel makes a back-peddling catch of a popup in shallow right-centerfield early in last Tuesday’s game against Ganado. Schulenburg held on to a 1-0 lead through six innings before the Indians tied the score and prevailed 3-1 in eight innings. Midway through district play, the Horns were tied for fourth place at 3-3.
