On behalf of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870, member James Duffin (left) of Schulenburg presented a $1,000 scholarship acceptance certificate to his granddaughter, Madison Paulsen of Bridgeland High School in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in the Houston area.
Paulsen has been accepted at the University of Arkansas, where she plans to study exercise science/ athletic trainee.
