Funeral services for Mr. James Stanzel, Sr., age 97, of Schulenburg will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. from the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas.
Visitation will begin at the church after 9 a.m. Saturday with the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Services at 10:30, followed by the Parish Rosary.
Interment will be in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Schulenburg. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Schulenburg American Legion.
Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Schulenburg; St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg; the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department; the Schulenburg American Legion; or a charity of one's choice.
