Sr. Connections: gathering place for active seniors
Fun and games on Fun Day Monday – (from left) Darlene Williams, Cynthia Meyer, Amanda McCullar from Paradigm at the Oak nursing home and Aileen Kasper. Everyone had so much fun that they laughed until they cried!
For the June outing, members visited Bastrop Opera House to enjoy the comedy “Moon Over Buffalo,” followed by dinner at Paw Paws Catfish Parlor. Shown are (from left) Judy Klesel, Darlene Williams, Julie Hill, Bonnie Baker, Chery Wilson, Irene Janda, Berni Gillings, JoNell Vacek, Cynthia Meyer and Shirley Machicek.
Senior Connections hopes everyone is having a safe and relaxing Independence Day weekend filled with family, friends and good food!
Senior Connections kicked off its expansion satellite in Weimar last week! It was so nice to see so many new faces, members of the community and great new volunteers come together.
A concrete walker/wheelchair ramp was installed at the Methodist Church, the location for Senior Connections in Weimar, to accommodate those needing it. Thanks to contractor Jason Class, Senior Connections executive director Amanda Kridel and the Methodist Church for making that happen. This will make access to the fellowship hall easy for everyone.
