The Smrkovsky children – Gage, Abby and Wyatt – are shown delivering their donation of birthday party packages. Inside the cake pan is a cake mix, ready-to-eat icing, oil, plates, napkins, candles and balloons.
The children of the families who utilize the services of the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry have been receiving a separate bag of food items selected to be child-friendly and usable.
This extra addition given to the families was started by a very generous Schulenburg businessman and has been ongoing for several years.
