Harvesting salad greens from the Tower Garden at Senior Connections is an outstanding volunteer, Sharon Rodriguez. The Tower Garden was obtained thanks to a grant from Second Chance Emporium.
An inf ormative program in Flatonia was given by Judy Pate of the Arnim Museum & Archives. She brought a collection of unique items and this mysterious one was identified as a bottle corking device.
The blackout prize in a bingo game – a lighted magnifying glass – was won by Cathy Besetzny (left). Bingo was called by Deannie Crim (right) of Schulenburg Family Fitness Center.
