Schulenburg Young Farmers
The Schulenburg Young Farmers will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Schulenburg Expo Center.
The program on wildlife and deer population will be given by Laura Sherod, wildlife biologist for Texas Parks & Wildlife. Program chairman is Frank Wick Jr.
Fayette County Czech Heritage Society
The next Fayette County Czech Heritage Society meeting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center’s Hanslik Hall in La Grange.
The guest speaker will be the Polka News editor, Gary McKee, who will speak on the origin of the polka Mass.
