Schulenburg High School senior Ruby Rodriguez, shown in action at the district competition, earned a trip to the state cross country meet Nov. 1-2 at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. She finished 13th overall and in the top 10 among runners not on state-qualifying teams at the Region IV-2A event on Monday, Oct. 21 in Corpus Christi.
