Pickup Reminder for Christ Followers Outreach Thanksgiving Meal
Christ Followers Outreach reminds those who obtained tickets for Thanksgiving meals to pick up the meals on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 7 p.m. The ticket had to be obtained in advance and please remember to bring the ticket to the pickup. One meal per household of turkey with sides is being provided.
St. Rose School Building Renovation Informational Meeting
St. Rose of Lima Catholic School will hold a building renovation informational meting on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The public is invited to come and see the next 135 years and be a part of it.
Thanksgiving Holiday
Most local businesses will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28. The City of Schulenburg and Fayette County offices will have holidays on both Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29.
The Sticker will also be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29. Residential garbage pickup for the week will be as follows: north side of town on Tuesday, Nov. 26 (usual day); and south side of town on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Commercial garbage pickup will take place on Monday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 27 as usual, with pickup for select businesses on Friday, Nov. 29.
St. Rose HSA Pigs-in-a-Blanket, Ham & Cheese Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls
The St. Rose School HSA is taking orders for fresh-baked pigs-in-ablanket, ham and cheese rolls, and cinnamon rolls. Cost is $25 per dozen and $15 for a half dozen. To order, call Carolyn at 979-743-4987, Gina at 979-561-6815 or the school at 979-743-3080.
Deadline to order is noon on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Pick-up will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13.
