A look back at top local stories from 2024 from the Sticker files
Residents filled Freyburg Hall as part of a coordinated effort to oppose placement of wind turbines north of town, as reported in the June 27 issue.
In the May 9 issue – Lady Horn senior Meredith Magliolo qualified for the state meet in the high jump for a third straight year, earning a bronze medal to go with a gold and a silver.
In the April 4, April 25, and May 9 issues – the Shorthorn golf team had another historic year by winning district and advancing past regional for a second straight trip to state.
