An increase to the amount of Hotel Occupancy Tax funds for the Schulenburg Sausagefest was unanimously approved by the City Council at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 4.
The City can grant money it receives through the HOT for promotional efforts, particularly those that involve bringing people to town for overnight stays.
