WEST NAVIDAD WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
The West Navidad Wildlife Management Association will hold its spring meeting on Saturday, May 3 at the Rockin W sale barn on Highway 77 north of Schulenburg.
A social will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a meal of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and roll from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring dessert. Plates will cost $10 per person. Soda, tea and water will be provided but other refreshments are BYOB.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., business meeting at 7 p.m. and silent auction/drawing at 7:45 p.m. Item(s) for the latter should be brought to help support the scholarship fund.
Members are asked to please invite a friend or neighbor in the cooperative area!.
Members are reminded that dues for 2025 are payable ASAP and checks made to “West Navidad Wildlife Management Association” can be mailed to Jeanette Stavinoha, 2916 Bruno Road, Schulenburg, TX 78956. Payment can calso be brought to the meeting.
American Legion & Auxiliary
American Legion McBride Post 143 and Auxiliary will hold their next monthly meetings on Tuesday, May 6 at the American Legion Home beginning at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be held following the memorial service and meal at 6:15 p.m.
All members and prospective members are invited to attend.
