One of the “Poppy Quilts” constructed by the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild for the “Hugs for the Hill Country” drive to aid flood victims is being displayed by Connie Kortz (left) of Victoria and Kathy Theut (right) of CVQG.
Colorado Valley Quilt Guild delivered 21 quilted/bound quilts and seven completed “Poppy” quilts to Connie Kortz of My Fabric Friends in Victoria for the “Hugs for the Hill Country” quilt drive.
The first stop will be St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba, where each quilt will be blessed before distribution.
