Fayette County Republican Women
The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange.
Check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. Lunch is available for $20.
Program speaker will be Chris Russo, founder and president of Texans for Strong Borders.
Russo founded Strong Borders in 2022 after observing that, while many special interest policy organizations exist across the conservative spectrum, no group was organized and actively pushing for Texas First border security and immigration policies at the state level.

SCHULENBURG Lions Club
The Schulenburg Lions Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Schulenburg Public Library at 11:45 a.m.
The speaker will be Kenny Couch from Habitat for Humanity.
VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA
The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Ammannsville KJT Hall in Ammannsville.
Food and refreshments will be provided at the meeting. All VVA, AVVA and prospective members are invited.
