As of Sept. 5, total intake for 2025 at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 1,261 – 521 dogs and 740 cats in need.
As of Sept. 5, the shelter had 128 animals in its care – 55 dogs and 73 cats.
The shelter is desperate for more dog walkers, kitten cuddlers, laundry washers, puppy bathers – the shelter promises you won’t regret volunteering!
