Parents As Teachers of Rural South Central Texas, in collaboration with the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum, hosted a joyful International Literacy Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 6. The event brought together 133 community members, uniting families in a day filled with reading, exploration and hands-on activities.
The day launched with creativity and curiosity as children dove into fairy tale-inspired STEAM stations, blending science, technology, engineering, art and math with the magic of storybooks.
Families enjoyed exploring the museum, bringing learning to life through interactive experiences.
