In honor of Prisoners Of War/ Missing In Action month in September, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 143 held the solemn POW/MIA ceremony at Schulenburg Elementary School for the fifth grade on Sept. 15.
POW/MIA Day is held each year on the third Friday of September.
