Mayor Connie Koopmann has signed a proclamation designating Oct. 19 as Catholic Daughters Sunday.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) was instituted as an organization in 1903 for women with the purpose of growing in spirituality and working in faithful service and love for God. The integration of spirituality and service is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters.
