Shoppers at the La Grange Walmart were greeted on Saturday, Dec. 20 with wagging tails, warm smiles and an important message – the value of spay and neuter programs in protecting community pets. The Gardenia E. Janssen Aanimal Shelter hosted a fundraising and awareness event at the store, drawing strong support from both longtime friends and new faces.
