The Schulenburg Lions Club will meet Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11:45 a.m. at the Schulenburg Public Library.

The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange.
Check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. Lunch will be available for $20.
The program speaker will be Rachel Hale of Texas TURF.org, which defends property rights and the freedom to travel.

Vietnam Veterans Of America
Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 870, will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at the Ammannsville KJT Hall starting at 7 p.m.
Refreshments and a meal will be served after the meeting. All Vietnam Veterans members, associate members and prospective members are invited.
Fayette County Czech Heritage Society
Fayette County Czech Heritage Society will hold its first gathering of the year with its annual soup social on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center in La Grange.
