A local man suffered fatal injuries while working at the Contech Engineered Solutions plant in Schulenburg on Monday, Feb. 2.
Police Chief Troy Brenek said the accident occurred at around 12:17 p.m., when a 5,000-pound spool of metal fell and crushed 60-year-old Craig Steven Rainosek against another spool.
