Horns take over first place with pair of hard-fought wins

Heading into their final District 28-2A game, the Shorthorns stood alone atop the standings following two clutch victories on the road last week.Schulenburg (23-9) went on to defeat Louise 81-31 on the road Feb. 16 to close out a district championship (details will appear in next week’s issue).
