Senior Connections: gathering place for active senior citizens in the area
Flato nia members had the opportunity to meet William Bernsen, candidate for Fayette County judge, during the lunch-and-learn program on Tuesday, Feb. 10. It was nice to learn about his background and about his vision for the position.
Members in Schulenburg were happy to meet Danny Domingue of Progressive Health Hospital in La Grange (formerly St. Mark’s) , on Monday, Feb. 9. He discussed the hospital’s plans and got members’ input on specialists they would like to see there.
At Senior Connections, where membership is free, the motto rings true: food is fine and the fellowship can’t be beat! With centers located in Schulenburg, Weimar and Flatonia, it is a vibrant hub for community and camaraderie. Seniors are invited to any or all locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., where the doors are always open to welcome them.
