Forty-two bags of methamphetamine concealed in spools of rope in the bed of a truck were located by Sgt. Randy Thumann and Investigator David Smith of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop on Interstate 10.
A traffic stop on a vehicle traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 was conducted by Sgt. Randy Thumann and Investigator David Smith of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office on Sunday, March 1, according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.
Sheriff Korenek reports that the stop took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. at the 716mile marker in Austin County.
