The Texas Workforce Commission released labor market statistics for February and they showed that the statewide seasonally- adjusted unemployment stayed at 4.3 percent for the third straight month.
Fayette County’s rate (not seasonally adjusted) decreased 0.1 percent from January, as did the rates for Austin and Gonzales counties. The other six surrounding counties saw their rates remain unchanged.
