With three pitchers giving up only two earned runs in 11.2 innings, highlighted by Owen Brenek’s no-hit shutout in game two, the Shorthorns cruised to 18-4 and 10-0 wins over Kenedy in last week’s Class 2A Division I bi-district series.
“It feels awesome,” Marty Bigham said of his first playoff victory as a head coach. “These kids earned it. They deserve it.
