‘Keeping Texas German Alive’ set at Fayette library
In her work with th e Texas German Dial ect Proj ect , Dr. Margo Blevins has been helping the Fayette Heritage Museum & Archives transcribe and translate the fascinating 1870s diary kept by Gustav A. Heilig (pictured), who first came to Fayette County to teach at the rural Bluff School.
